Default Vanquishing NF opinion poll

Hey all, I'm busy dreading VQing the rest of NF, mainly becuase I hate VQing, and NF lol. So I'm looking into paying people to do it for me basically. It's not a question of ability, hell HM WoC makes HM seem like Pre-Searing, I'm just lazy.

So, on to my real question:

How much would you want to be paid (realistically) to VQ a zone in NF. I realise there are people offering this on Services Section, but they're generally so busy I'll get no chance, and as they are providing the service, can price up what they want.

So how much would you, as an average (or above) GW player want to be paid to VQ a single area (non-desolation)?

Cheers!

no less than 100g/enemy. You could always post a thread in the seeking services section and go with whoever is available at the time.

Yep. So basically 15-40k per area...for most areas. Pretty good especially if youre going to do it anyways.

Hmmm 100g/foe seems steep. Particularly since it's not hard, just boring. Ah well, thx for the replies!

It's the high cost of other people's boredom. That is, if you think you'd get bored, just think how boring it is for the person who's already done it a few times.
If I was still playing GW1, I'd be willing to do it cheaper for grins, but I'm not, so I won't.

I'm not even sure you should be playing a game that you think
is so boring you'd rather pay someone else to play it for you.

But if you are going to expect them to play your game for you...
you should make it worth their while.

It's not actually a bad game if you stop thinking like "I gotta
get from point A to point Z". Try thinking " I gotta get from
point A to point B, point B to Point C, Point C to point D... etc.

Idk where on earth you are getting this "I ovbiously think the game is boring" opinion which you're attributing to me. VQing is boring, it's not a core part of the game, it's there for people who wish to grind a bit more. The rest of the game is for the most part great, why else would I play it.

tl;dr I'm not a noob. I could VQ if i wanted to, but I'd rather pay others to do it for me.

I disagree with that somewhat. Way back in the early days of GW1, I and some friends thought it would be interesting to try to kill everything in a zone for grins, but there was no way at that time to know if you had actually done it. Then Vanquishing was added and it became possible, so I started to VQ because I wanted to VQ. It wasn't until EotN and the HoM that I did any VQ'ing just for the title.
Of course, back in those days, when gold items still sold for good prices, VQ'ing and opening chests along the way, netted me lots of gold.

fair enough, after all that's only my opinion. I just have little patience for hunting down every mob in an area for a reward I don't really need (gold/rep). The only reason I VQed was for GWAMM. If i can clear the foundry in HM with heroes, I stand it to reason that i could clear any area, just by c spacing.

In any case, done it now, ended up offering 50k for some areas, just cos i wanted it done lol.
